Spain is facing a political crisis after Catalans voted in favor of independence in a contested referendum that descended into violence when police launched a widespread crackdown on the vote. Ejiofor also lamented that he has not been able to reach Kanu since the military stormed his Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia, Abia State home. The legal representative of the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB), Mr Ifeanyi Ejiofor has advised the sureties who signed the bail bond of the now missing leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu, not to worry as they won't be held liable.
