See What Will Be Done To You If You Buy Stolen Phone, Police Reveal

Image
The Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Bala Elkana, has revealed the punishment that will be meted to whoever buys a stolen phone in Lagos. While enlighten Nigerians on the consequences of buying a stolen phone, Bala said the minimum sentencing for offenders is 7 years and the buyer will get more jail years than the thief. According to him:- “Under our laws, it is quite a serious offence for one to buy stolen phones. The law even regards the buyer to be more culpable than even the thief. The punishment is more for the buyer than the thief. The wisdom behind that is to discourage people from stealing because if there is no market where they would sell those stolen things, they would not steal them but because they have a ready market, they easily steal. “This is why the law makes the punishment stiffer for the buyer. The person who steals may get three years punishment, while the buyer could get seven years imprisonment and at the end, he will lose the property

BREAKTHROUGH!! Scientists Develop New Laser That Can Kill CANCER

Image
Researchers have developed a new kind of laser that can find and zap those Cancer cells from the outside of the skin. Though it may still be a ways away from becoming a commercial diagnostic tool, the laser is up to 1,000 times more sensitive than current methods used to detect tumour cells in blood, the researchers reported on June 12 in the journal Science Translational Medicine. To test for cancer spread, doctors typically take blood samples, but often the tests fail to find tumour cells even if they are present in a single sample, especially if the patient has an early form of cancer, said senior author Vladimir Zharov, director of the nanomedicine centre at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. If the tests do come back positive, that typically means there’s a high concentration of circulating tumour cells in the blood; at that point, the cancer has likely spread widely to other organs and it’s often “too late to effectively treat patients,” Zharov added. Tips To Protect Yourself From Laptop Radiation

Image
Consider the below tips to lower your exposure to harmful EMFs emitted from your computer or laptop, and begin to protect yourself from laptop radiation immediately. #1. Make Sure Your Computer Equipment is “Grounded” Grounding is the process of providing electricity with an effective and efficient path to the earth. If your PC equipment is ungrounded, particularly your laptops, placing your hands on the laptop’s keyboard can engender high electric field exposures. To start with, check whether your PC is grounded: If your power cable has three prongs, then your PC is grounded. And if your PC power cord has two prongs, it means your laptop is ungrounded If your laptop has a 2 pin plug, you can get it grounded with a laptop grounding cord. This is going to enable the EMFs generated by your PC to route through the wire and not through you. In case you’re as yet not sure if your outlet is grounded, you can get this checked with an outlet circuit tester. This may require minor electrical kn
