Barely 24 hours after the attack on the Federal Government college in Yobe state where 43 young students were killed, suspected men of the Islamist group yesterday night attacked settlers at Kirchinga, Michika, Shuwari and Shuwa district all in Adamawa state. Several cars, houses, catholic churches, shops and even a First Bank Complex were burnt down.

This man and the vehicle he built were spotted on the road around the Ikorodu area of Lagos yesterday. He built a multi-routed car which he says can be sailed on water just like a boat and as well could move on the road with its three tyres. He says he needs encouragement and motivation. Find below The recent suspension of the erstwhile Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria has ignited a debate on Social Media and as has become typical with many pundits, the discourse has been dominated by sentiments rather than facts. As Sanusi has indicated that he will be challenging his suspension in court, I will not make this piece about him and recent events surrounding him. Yes, I will cite some examples of double standards as regards the approach taken by some analysts, but in my view, the matter is now best left to the courts.

Amina Bello, 25-year old woman in Yolde  Pate in Yola South LGA of Adamawa State, on Tuesday , delivered a sizable stone. Bello narrated her story at the opening ceremony of  Vesico vaginal fistula (VVF) free medical treatment in Yola Specialists Hospital. Presidential aide Reuben Abati just announced President Jonathan  has appointed a new Chief of Staff a week after his former Chief of Staff, Mike Oghiadome resigned. The new Chief of Staff to the President (pictured right) was born on Nov. 10, 1952. He hails from the Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
