After months of complaints from motorist and residents, the contractor (CCECC) in charge of the Lagos Badagry express road have commence work on the road. Residents of Lagos Badagry area have opined that the state Government have excluded them from those benefitting the basic amenities especially road being done in the state. Coming to Badagry from Mile 2 is a nightmare for residents due to the alarming situation of the road, the future of the roads seems bright after the state Government began expansion of the road about 8years ago. As proposed, work began and motorist and residents believed their long difficulties encountered on the road will come to an end. After few years of working, the roads construction was abandoned after some private properties have been destroyed as part of the price to pay for the development. A city in China is planning to launch an ‘artificial moon’ that will light up the skies as far as 50 miles around. The so-called illumination satellite set to deploy over the southwestern city of Chengdu in 2020 is touted to be eight times as bright as the real moon, to cast a ‘dusk-like glow’ over the region, according to the People’s Daily.
